Fall 2019 Class/Workshop Schedule

Please RSVP via email for classes and workshops. Spaces are limited. For private tutoring please contact me. Please note that we are peanut and tree nut free and request no food come with students unless there is a medical need. Classes start the first week of September and end the second week of December.   • Saxon 5/4 (9+ yrs) – Tuesdays at 10:00-11:00 (9/10 – 12/10)
    • $12 Per class (Must RSVP)
    • Students will work through Saxon 5/4 over the course of a year with supplementation, hands-on math, and guided learning
    • Virtual login is possible for flexibility on sick days, travel, etc.
    • Limited to 8 Students
  • Virtual Login High School Hour – Mondays 3:15-4:15
    • $10 per session (come as needed)
    • RSVP via email to guarantee a spot and get a link
    • Bring your assignments and questions to google hangout
      • help can be given via email as well
    • Algebra through AP Calculus
    • No more than 6 students
  • Math Games Hour – Tuesdays 3:45-4:45
    • $10 per session (RSVP to guarantee spot)
    • Games will be played based on skill level for grades 3+ through High School Students
    • Drop-in basis (limited to 6 students)
    • Discount for parent helper
  • First Thursday Math and Science 4-5 pm (11yrs +)
    • RSVP via email each month
    • Time will be spent on science experiments and activities and planning yearly science project
    • Spots are limited to 5 students (with high registration a second session may open)
    • $30 per student
      • September 5th – Momentum and friction
        • Airtracks, force measurements, lab reports and more
        • Intro to science project
      • October 3rd – Waves and periodic functions
        • Wave generators
        • Working on science project plan/approach and schedule
      • November 7th – Pendulums
        • Pendulum lab, chaotic motion, and wave pendulums
        • Working on science project
      • December 5th – Galileo and gravity
        • Designing experiments – a “how to”
        • Looking at gravity in depth
        • Working on science project
