All of the great horned owls that have sat with me for hours of my life came to mind. I really struggled with what math piece I wanted to do here. I went with lift.

I used multiple images, including my own in composing this. The vortices off the back of the owl are inspired from this paper and the airfoil shape is from here. It looks like the coefficient for the lift equations will be somewhere between 1.5 and 2 from what data I saw, but I think it would be fun to get a full table of these coefficients for all birds.
